ABOUT CT FEAT
"ConnecticuT Families for
Effective Autism
Treatment" (CT FEAT) is a non-profit
organization formed by parents to provide information, support and
networking opportunities to the families of children with Autism
Spectrum Disorders (ASD). As an all volunteer organization with
limited resources, we focus exclusively on Connecticut families.

please see this special
note.
OUR VOLUNTEERS
Many of CT FEAT's parent volunteers experienced
tremendous difficulty in obtaining an accurate diagnosis for our
children. We also encountered many obstacles to securing timely,
appropriate, and affordable treatment. We want to help other parents
learn about, and have access to, effective treatment.
OUR PRINCIPAL GOALS:
-
To provide information resources and networking opportunities to families interested in autism interventions validated by research.
-
To expand the availability of high quality professional services by supporting education and training opportunities in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
OUR RESOURCES:
-
For Connecticut Parents Only: The CT FEAT Confidential Parent Discussion List. This closed, unmoderated listserv has many hundreds of subscribers. It provides a commercial-free forum to discuss issues of concern. All members agree to protect the confidentiality of the other families on the list. In order to join you must first read and agree to our guidelines. To learn more about the listserv and how to subscribe, go to the ctfeat listserv.
